Access Methods

We select access methods based on the specific features of your building

At Clearpoint Building Solutions, we select access methods based on the specific features of your building. Rest assured, we utilize only the necessary equipment to avoid any additional costs for you.

AERIAL WORK PLATFORM / AERIAL LIFTS

An aerial work platform is a versatile mechanical lift designed to handle tasks at heights of up to 300 feet. Operated by trained professionals, these platforms provide a safe and efficient way to access elevated areas that are beyond the reach of traditional ladders or water-fed poles.

Truck-mounted aerial platforms offer additional flexibility by allowing for easy transportation between job sites, significantly reducing setup time and improving overall productivity. Their combination of mobility and functionality makes them an essential tool for a wide range of industries and projects.

ROPE ACCESS

Our team is proud to be one of the only companies in Toronto with technicians certified by both the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) and the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT). When truck-mounted platforms are not an option, we provide rope access services, a highly efficient solution for reaching confined spaces and navigating complex structures with ease and precision.

DAVIT SYSTEM - BUILDING MAINTENANCE UNIT / BMU ACCESS

A davit system is a top-tier facade access solution designed to support suspension equipment over a building’s edge. Ideal for tasks like window cleaning and exterior maintenance, it ensures safety and reliability. Installed at roof level, the system allows seamless lateral, horizontal, and vertical movement of the working platform, providing comprehensive access to the building’s exterior.

WATER FED POLE (WFP) - ADVANCED WINDOW CLEANING SYSTEM

A water-fed pole system offers a safe and efficient way to clean windows up to 80 feet high, all from the ground. Using purified water rather than chemicals, it effectively rinses away dirt and grime, ensuring a spotless, streak-free finish once dry.

This method eliminates the need for ladders or heavy lifting equipment, making it a quick, environmentally friendly solution for cleaning exterior windows.

TRADITIONAL WINDOW CLEANING FROM INSIDE THE BUILDING

Cleaning windows from inside the building is often the simplest and safest method, provided the windows can be opened. This approach not only ensures clean interior and exterior glass but also allows for detailed cleaning of window frames and sills. However, for non-openable windows, alternative access methods are required to thoroughly clean both sides of the glass.
